Pz is an app that lets you spend time with a small companion inside the screen of your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
It is not a game where the main goal is to clear stages.
It is not a social media app where the main goal is to connect with many people.
It is not a tool made to help you work faster or more efficiently.
What Pz values most is something simple:
“There is a small presence inside your screen.”
Your little companion does not stay in the same place all the time.
It may walk around, stop for a while, rest when it gets tired, or curl up and sleep.
Sometimes, it may also react to what you do.
But it does not always move exactly the way you want.
It feels as if it is spending time at its own pace.
That little bit of freedom is part of what makes Pz special.
You Do Not Have to “Do Something” All the Time
When people think about smartphone apps, they may imagine things like:
“I have to log in every day.”
“I have to collect points.”
“I have to level up.”
“I have to compete with someone.”
Pz is different.
You do not always have to do something.
You can simply open the screen and notice little things like:
“Oh, there you are today.”
“You’re sleeping.”
“Oh, you started walking again.”
Even watching these small changes can be enjoyable.
On busy days, you do not have to do anything.
When you are a little tired, you can simply look at your small companion on the screen.
Pz is not an app that asks a lot from you.
More Than “Playing” — It Feels Like “Spending Time Together”
If we had to describe the feeling of Pz in one simple way, it might be this:
It feels less like “playing” and more like “spending time together.”
Of course, you can touch the screen and enjoy how your companion reacts.
But that is not the only way to enjoy Pz.
Even when you are not doing anything, your small companion is still there.
Walking.
Resting.
Sleeping.
And sometimes, when you look again, it may be in a different place.
These simple little moments are part of the fun of Pz.
The First Companions Are Peri and Poko
Pz begins with two small companions.
Peri, a black-and-white cat.
Poko, a quokka wallaby.
They are the first friends you meet in the world of Pz.
But this does not mean you must always call them Peri and Poko.
In Pz, you can give them your own names.
Just like choosing a name for a new member of the family,
you can choose a name for the little companion that appears on your screen.
From the moment you give them a name,
they may slowly change from
“a Pz character” into “your own companion.”
Pz Does Not Give You a Finished Story
Pz has its own world.
It also has characters.
But Pz does not decide everything for you.
It does not say:
“This character must have this personality.”
“You must enjoy this story in this order.”
The way Pz feels can be different for each person.
The way you enjoy it can be different too.
Some people may quietly watch.
Some may give their companion a name and talk to it.
Some may look every day.
Others may open Pz only when they suddenly feel like it.
Pz aims to become
a small presence that slowly becomes part of your own time and daily life.
A Small Place Inside Your Screen
Your smartphone screen is full of many things.
News.
Social media.
Work.
Videos.
Games.
Information is everywhere.
Among all of that,
there can also be one small place that does not ask you for anything.
A place where a little companion is simply there.
That idea is part of why Pz was created.
You open the screen,
and someone is there.
Sometimes, that alone can make you feel a little different.
Pz is not an app for doing something big.
It is an app for adding
a little more gentle time,
and a little more small happiness,
to everyday life.
Next time:
What Can You Do with Pz?
We will take a closer look at how your small companion moves inside Pz,
what kinds of things you can do,
and how you can enjoy spending time together.
