In the last article, we introduced the basic idea of Pz in:
“What Kind of App Is Pz?”
Pz is not an app made for completing stages or winning a game.
It is an app for spending time with a small companion inside the screen of your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
So, what can you actually do with Pz?
Let’s take a closer look.
Enjoy Watching Your Little Companion
Your little companion in Pz does not stay in one place all the time.
It may walk around.
It may stop for a while.
It may rest when it feels tired.
It may curl up and sleep.
Sometimes, when you look at the screen again, you may notice:
“Oh, you moved.”
These simple movements are an important part of Pz.
Nothing special has to happen.
Walking.
Resting.
Sleeping.
Even these small moments can be enjoyable.
Interact and Enjoy the Reactions
Pz is not only something you watch.
When you interact with the screen, your little companion may react.
Something you do may change what happens on the screen.
But your companion will not always do exactly what you want.
That little bit of freedom is part of its charm.
It is not something that simply follows every command.
It can feel a little free and a little unpredictable.
That is part of the experience of Pz.
Give Your Companion a Name
In the world of Pz, you will meet Peri, a black-and-white cat, and Poko, a quokka wallaby.
But you do not have to keep calling them Peri and Poko.
In Pz, you can give your little companion your own name.
It can be a name you love.
A name with a special memory.
Or simply a name that comes to mind when you see your companion.
By giving it a name,
the character on your screen may slowly begin to feel like
your own little companion.
We will talk more about naming in another article.
Sometimes, You Can Simply Watch
With Pz, there is no rule saying:
“You have to do this today.”
On a busy day, you can leave things as they are.
When you have a little time, you can watch your companion.
When you suddenly wonder what it is doing, you can open the screen and take a look.
You do not have to use Pz in the same way every day.
Enjoy it when you want to.
Watch quietly when you want to.
And sometimes, doing nothing is perfectly fine.
Pz can fit into your own daily life.
Notice the Little Changes
The fun of Pz is not only about big events.
Walking.
Stopping.
Sleeping.
Being somewhere different from before.
Finding these little changes can also be part of the fun.
Each time you open the screen, you may begin to wonder:
“What are you doing today?”
We hope your little companion can become that kind of small presence in your daily life.
You Do Not Have to Keep Using the Screen
You do not need to keep touching your smartphone to enjoy Pz.
Pz is not designed around playing for long periods of time.
Of course, you can interact and enjoy the reactions.
But sometimes, simply seeing your companion there is enough.
Pz aims to create:
a daily life with a small companion inside your screen.
Fun does not always have to come from winning something or completing something.
Sometimes,
“You’re here again today.”
can be a small happy moment too.
That is the kind of time Pz values.
Find Your Own Way to Enjoy Pz
There is no single “correct” way to enjoy Pz.
Watch your companion move.
Enjoy its reactions.
Give it a name.
Open the screen whenever you feel like it.
Enjoy having a small companion as part of your everyday life.
Everyone can enjoy Pz a little differently.
Pz is an app for
enjoying time with your small companion in your own way.
Next time:
“How Is Pz Different from Ordinary Apps?”
Pz is not quite a game.
It is not social media.
And it is not an ordinary utility app.
So what makes Pz different?
In the next article, we will take a closer look at the idea behind Pz and what makes it unique.
