Pz characters have their own official names.
For example:
Peri.
Poko.
Gao.
Tetu.
These are the names used for the characters in the official Pz world.
But in your own Pz, you can give your companion a name that you choose.
“Peri” is the official character name
The official name of the black-and-white cat is Peri.
When this character appears on the Pz Blog or official Facebook page, we call them Peri.
The same is true for Poko, Gao, and Tetu.
Each character has an official name in the Pz world.
In your own Pz, you choose the name
When you meet your companion, you can choose the name you would like to call them.
You can keep the official name.
Or you can choose a completely different name.
A cute name.
A name with a special memory.
Or simply a name that feels right.
The choice is yours.
The official name does not disappear
Giving your companion another name does not change the character’s official Pz name.
In the official Pz world, Peri is still Peri.
But in your own Pz, Peri can become the companion with the special name you chose.
You can think of it this way:
One name belongs to the Pz world.
The other belongs to the relationship between you and your companion.
Both can be special.
A name can make your companion feel more personal
Giving a character your own name may seem like a small thing.
But little by little, that character may begin to feel more like your own companion.
You may find yourself thinking:
“Oh, there you are.”
or
“You are walking a lot today.”
That feeling is also part of Pz.
What name would you choose?
You can keep the official name.
You can choose your own special name.
There is no correct answer.
The official character name and the name you give your companion can both be part of Pz.
Enjoy choosing a name that feels right for you. 🐾
