So far, we have talked about:
What kind of app Pz is.
What you can do with Pz.
How Pz is different from ordinary apps.
And:
Who Peri and Poko are.
Now, we are ready to talk about what happens after you actually get Pz.
So, what should you do first?
There is no need to make it difficult.
Pz is not an app that asks you to complete a mission as soon as you begin.
You can simply start your first quiet moments with your little companion.
- First, Open Pz
- You Do Not Need to Learn Everything at Once
- Give Your Little Companion a Name
- Your Own Pz Begins with a Name
- Watch How Your Companion Moves
- Interact and See What Happens
- You Do Not Have to Work Hard on the First Day
- Instead of “What Should I Do?” Try “What Are You Like?”
- Enjoy Your First Moments with Pz
First, Open Pz
Once Pz is ready to use, open it and take a look.
Inside the screen is the little companion you will be spending time with.
You do not need to do many things right away.
First, simply watch for a moment.
Your companion may be walking.
It may be standing still.
It may be resting.
Or it may be sleeping.
You may find yourself thinking:
“Oh, there you are.”
Enjoy that first little meeting.
You Do Not Need to Learn Everything at Once
When we start using a new app, we sometimes wonder:
“Where should I tap?”
“What do I need to set up?”
“Do I have to learn everything first?”
With Pz, you do not need to know everything from the beginning.
Look at your little companion.
Try interacting a little.
See how it reacts.
That is enough to start.
You can learn about Pz little by little as you spend more time with it.
Give Your Little Companion a Name
In Pz, the first little companions are introduced as:
Peri, the black-and-white cat,
and
Poko, the quokka wallaby.
But you do not have to keep these names.
In Pz, you can choose your own names for them.
You can keep the names Peri and Poko if you like them.
Or you can choose completely different names.
It can be an easy name to say.
A name with a special memory.
Or simply a name that comes to mind when you see your companion.
There is no one correct name.
Your Own Pz Begins with a Name
Giving your companion a name is more than just changing a setting.
At first, you may see:
“a character in Pz.”
But after choosing a name,
that little character may slowly begin to feel like:
“my little companion.”
That small change is important to Pz.
We will talk more about naming in the next article.
Watch How Your Companion Moves
After choosing a name, you do not need to do anything special right away.
Simply watch how your companion spends time on the screen.
Walking.
Stopping.
Resting.
Sleeping.
You may look away for a while,
then come back and find your companion somewhere else.
Noticing these little changes is one of the simple pleasures of Pz.
Interact and See What Happens
When you feel ready, try interacting with the screen.
Your little companion may react.
But it will not always do exactly what you want.
Pz companions can feel a little free and a little independent.
You can simply enjoy wondering:
“What will you do next?”
You Do Not Have to Work Hard on the First Day
Pz does not have a rule that says:
“You must get this far on your first day.”
You do not need to use it for a long time.
You do not need to discover everything at once.
Today, you may simply watch.
Tomorrow, you may interact a little more.
You can discover your own way to enjoy Pz slowly.
Pz is made to fit into your own daily rhythm.
Instead of “What Should I Do?” Try “What Are You Like?”
When you first get Pz, you may wonder:
“What am I supposed to do?”
But you can try thinking about it in another way.
Instead of:
“What do I have to do?”
try:
“What are you like?”
Watch how your companion walks.
See how it rests.
Notice where it goes.
That is already enough to begin.
Enjoy Your First Moments with Pz
After buying Pz,
open it,
meet your little companion,
choose a name,
watch for a while,
interact a little,
and simply spend some time together.
That is all you need to begin.
There are no difficult rules.
There is no special preparation.
Just start by spending a little time with the small companion that has arrived on your screen.
From that day,
your own time with Pz begins.
Next time:
“What Does It Mean to Give Your Companion a Name?”
Why can you choose your own name in Pz?
If the names Peri and Poko already exist, why can they be changed?
In the next article, we will take a closer look at one of the ideas Pz values very much:
giving your little companion a name.
